Code of Conduct:
-members of fury are expected to uphold a high level of integrity and maturity at all times.
- Personal attacks of any sort will not be tolerated.
-you will treat guild members with respect at all times
-retaliation of personal attacks are highly frowned upon! If you feel somebody has broken a code of conduct rule please talk with an officer
- Guild members are encouraged to bring any issues up to an officer in PRIVATE if they cannot satisfactorily solve the matter amongst those involved. Do not use guild chat to air your differences of opinions.
- Guild members should not expect things from the guild. This includes: ports, resurrections, loot, experience groups or specific raids. Members should maintain the attitude of "What can you do for the guild?", not "What can the guild do for you?"
As always we do our best to accommodate all of our members needs.
- Remember that generally the quickest path to your personal goals is to support the guilds goals, and that with patience all members goals will be achieved.
Disciplinary actions
Anybody found in violation of the guild charter will be subject to the following disciplinary actions
First violation - meeting with officers and verbal warning
Second violation - Verbal warning and loot probation for 6 raids
Third violation - Removal from guild
Guild Hierarchy
Guild Leader – Will decide what the direction the guild will take. Can veto any decision an officer has taken, has the final word on any such decision regarding the guild in general.
Officers – Enforces guild policy, lead’s raids, website maintenance, DKP recording, general administrator of guild, recruitment, disciplinary issues.
Member – Members who have completed their time and duty, are allowed to be first chosen for raid positions, are given first rights to item loot, are responsible for their actions within and out of any guild activity.
Initiate – Are characters who is required to accomplish a 2 week trial period to see if you and we are happy with each other. Within this trial period, or soon after, depending on your rl status, the character is encouraged to make level 48+. An initiate will have secondary rights to APW loot, after full member needs. This does not mean an initiate will not get any loot, merely that full members have first dibs on contested items. Initiates DO accumulate dkp points.
Alts - Each character is allowed to have 2 Alts in the guild unless otherwise approved by an officer.
Guild DKP system
Fury will operate under a hybrid RAID SYSTEM point allocation. Members will accrue points for attending raids. These points can then be used to “buy” loot that drops on raids. Every “loot” is given a point value based on rarity, this point value is the minimum a full member can begin bidding on such loot. As certain loot becomes more easily acquired, the value will be changed.
-Each full APW raid is awarded dkp depending on what is accomplished that given day.
1 point for each hour spent on the raid
5 points for each lockout boss killed
10 points for a first time kill on a lockout boss
-A member can lose 50 points per week of inactivity at the discretion of the guild leaders, unless that member has 0 points. This encourages and rewards longevity and active participation, as well as penalties for those who rarely show up, yet not making it impossible to catch up.
-If a loot item is deemed to be for a specific class but can be used for a wide range of classes, officers/guild leader will decide whether this item will be for open bidding or locked for such class/race.
-No one will be allowed to “borrow points” or “go negative” with their raid points unless approved by an officer.
-Points are non-transferable between members or friends/relatives.
-Once a person leaves the guild (removes Fury tag) for a period of 7 days, all point accumulations are null and void. They will be reset to Zero.
-If a member has not raided for 6 weeks, they may be declared inactive at the discretion of a guild leader. In order to return to active status, member will be required to undergo a one month Initiate period. If member notifies the officers that he/she is going inactive for such a period this inactive state may be nulled, upon officer's approval.
The goal behind a point system is very simple. It rewards you for attendance at raids. More participation, more points, more rewards. The value of an item will have an assigned MINIMUM point value. It is up to you, how much you are willing to spend to get it. We appreciate restraint and common sense bidding. Please consider others who may also have a desire/need for any given item before you bid. The choice is yours. But if all of us approach bidding with the attitude of what improves the Guild, we are all strengthening the guild as a whole, and we will all win. At times the officers may also set guidelines for a certain item, this will be discussed in the officer channel, for setting restrictions to a specific item and may award it for cost to a member/class/race that will benefit the guild more. These situations can/will be discussed as well in the membership forums prior to enacting.
DIPLOMACY DKP
Alright guys the Diplo DKP has been revamped to reward those of higher level with a little more than those that can only push 1 or 2 buffs =)
Before each raid, a Diplo group formed by a designated Diplo coordinator will push up civic buffs for the raid. Up to the first 6 people in this group will be awarded Diplo DKP for thier efforts. To earn Diplo DKP each person will push up the designated levers chosen by the coordinator based on which civics are currently up and down for at least a full hour leading up to raid start. Failiure to comply with direction, pushing low priority civics when directed elsewhere, will result in removal from the Diplo group and no DKP will be awarded. Each participating diplomat needs to register their presence values and diplo level on the Webpage before being included in the Diplo group.
The amount of Diplo DKP granted to each member of the Diplo group will be based on which tiers of diplomacy they are in within realms of both Presence and Level. This results in a max of 8 dkp to members who are 50 diplo and push 10 (2.2k+ presence)
DIPLOMACY COORDINATORS IN RANKING ORDER 1. Changul
2. Anadais
3. Sleez/Dipfury
GUILD DIPLOMATS IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to start earning DKP through diplomacy you will need to register on the forums as a guild diplomat. to do this you need to go to the Diplomacy center forum then from there click the diplomat registration thread and follow the directions. Once you are listed on there you will be added to this list and will earn dkp
1) Spawning DKP: Any members spawning or finding Nerksawl to be up during the hours of 6-10am on a raid day will earn 20dkp. If this is a group effort from multiple people trying to get him to spawn the dkp will be split evenly amongst those members.
2) Summoning room DKP: Summoning room for ore is a pain in the arse and we all know it. its boring and repetitive but it needs to be done in order to get people geared up for bigger and better things. lately we have been having a large drop of raid attendance when we start doing this. So to encourage people to stay any summoned mob killed in the summoning room during a raid will yield the attendees 1dkp per ore thats dropped. therefore if we kill 5 of the harder summoned mobs each attendee will get 10dkp on top of their normal raid dkp
Spending Points:
-You may spend the points you have up to your CURRENT posted balance.
- If there is a tie, those people will use the /random 1 100 command.
-Bidding will be in Raid chat and public for all to see. If you get out bid, you are allowed to place a new bid given you have enough points.
-All bidding is done in increments of 5 points. Exceptions to this may be made if the current member is bidding all-in.
-Only winning bids will be deducted from that player’s balance.
-Some items will not be bid on i.e. Spells, runes, tomes, etc. These items will have a 0 based point value and all interested parties will conduct a /random 1-100 for such an item.
On occasion an item may be awarded to a specific player/class/race deemed best able to use the item for the good of the guild. Officers will determine a value for the item, and that amount is charged to the player.
DKP abuse
Bidding Points you do not have will incur a 12 raid Loot probation where the culprit will not be able to win any items or bid during that time. Please check how much dkp you have BEFORE the raid so you do not violate this policy
-Harassment of another possible bidder before or during bidding.
-Complaints/harassment towards or about the winner of an item will not be tolerated. Either via tells or in public channels. If you believe an item should be awarded to a specific class, inform an officer about your thoughts.
-Fixed bid prices between members of a class/race/group.
-Bidding up another member with no expectation of buying the item.
-Bidding over the number of DKP available to you. You have as many as are POSTED, not how many you will or thought you have.
-Mislooting an item whether intentionally or accidentally WILL have severe consequences assessed. LOOK before you loot. Have confirmation always on whether or not you intend to loot no drop items.
Each member is responsible for ensuring their point totals are accurate. Check our website before each raid to know how many you have. If you notice you are missing from a given raid, it is YOUR responsibility to post on the forums as why you think you are missing such points. Officers have the discretion as to whether any given member will receive DKP for an encounter. These decisions may be appealed to the Guild leader. Officers will track point accumulation and update the website on a timely manner.
RAID Event Hierarchy and Policies:
There will be a Hierarchy for every raid that is guild sponsored. Each member will be required to respect the decision for the positions that will be set before each raid. This hierarchy is responsible for the accomplishment of the goal set before the raid. Leading a raid is sometimes difficult, when a new encounter is being solved respect the raid leader. Give constructive criticism, give suggestions, do not belittle a raid leader/raid officer.
-Each raid will consist of three primary roles.
- Raid Leader – will determine the tactics, strategy, or an encounter. Will determine the success of the raid. Will not take bids for loot awarding.
- Keeper of the points – will take attendance on an hourly basis to award DKP. Can take bids for loot awarding. Will take note on bids.
- Assistant Raid leader – will assist the raid leader. Can take bids for loot awarding.
Fury policies (footnote-this can be amended, resolutions can be added here)
-All items that any NPC drops will be announced in /raid, for all members and none members to see.
-Changing Main Characters-You may change your current main to another character with these policies: Active status, and with 50% attendance over the past 30 days. Then you may contact the Recruiting officer and obtain permission. If you receive approval to switch mains, your DKP will be transferred to your new main. You will need to go to character summary website and add/change your main character.

Just want to clarify that if you are on the raid probation, you must attend that many raids before your probation is lifted. Simply skipping 6 raids will not get you past your probation.
Just one quick point. In the event that an item drops (say a mold), and the only person that does not have that item has no DKP to spend, will they be able to take it and have a negative DKP hit? Just asking cos I wouldn't like to see items rot just because the one person that can use it might be out of DKP.
As far as your question, Chindi, we would not let it rot!
That's great. I know we had that situation last week and the loot was given out and didn't rot. Just wanted clarification as this post was made after that day. Thanks!
